Sharmila Farooqi is a Pakistani politician who served as advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh from September 2008 - January 31, 2011, specializing in information and media. She is the maternal grand daughter of N M Uqaili and daughter of Usman Farooqi, who was a bureaucrat and former chairman of Pakistan Steel Mills.
